ASDA Annual Session - March 2-5th, Recap of the "Best Week Ever"
Eight students represented the Univeristy of Minnesota at the ASDA Annual Session in Anaheim, CA . The Annual Session held at the Disneyland Hotel, brought together almost 400 dental students from across the country to network and gain valuable resources for their individual chapters.
Some highlights included: Keynote Speakers, House Meetings, District Meetings, Elections of ASDA's 2011-12 Executive Committee and Board of Trustees, Awards Presentations and an Exhibit Fair with nearly 70 exhibitors.
Dean Lloyd presented at the Hot Topic Super Session: "License to Drill" along with a panel of key players in the recent changes to dental licensure.
Minnesota was awarded the 2011 Ideal ASDA in Advocacy and an Honorable Mention in Involvement with Predental Membership. Congraulations to all! See list of other award winning chapters for 2011.

District 8 and 9 also took home the award for Best Performance during the Karaoke Competition at the 80's Rock Star Themed President's Dinner Dance. Way to go! Check back for more pictures.
